We will be straightforward right off the bat and let you know that the Exentri Wallet is on the higher end of the spectrum when it come to slim wallet thickness. While it is only slightly larger than a credit card, it has a thickness of almost half an inch even when empty, due to the Exentri Wallet’s tri-fold design. That makes the Exentri Wallet thickness than most minimalist wallets but that extra girth is put to good use as the wallet can hold a lot more than your average slim wallet.

The Exentri Wallet has a total of six pockets for card storage (seven if you include the cut-out pocket on the inside of the center pocket) plus a very huge and well designed pocket for your bills. While you can slide in another card into the cut-out pocket, that pocket is more suited for smaller items like a ticket stub or similar. The outer two pockets have thumb sliders on them for easy extraction of cards. The idea is to put your 2 most often used cards in these 2 pockets.

If you really want to max out card storage on the Exentri Wallet, you can easily fit at least 12 cards before things get a little tight. Remember the part about the wallet being a tad on the fat side? Well, the good news is that you can fit in about 6 cards (one in each card pocket) and a few banknotes with very little additional bulge.  If you plan to store 6 or more cards in your wallet, the seemingly extra thickness of the Exentri Wallet is not really an issue.

The other thing that we really liked about the Exentri Wallet is the design of the cash compartment. The voluminous pocket that we mentioned earlier is stitched on two sides. This makes it real easy to open the pocket widely and ruffle through whatever is stored there.

Made from genuine Italian cowhide leather, the Exentri Wallet features a stainless steel clasp that holds the wallet snugly closed. However, the steel clasp can be an issue if the wallet is placed in a back pocket so we would say that the Exentri Wallet is more suited as a front pocket wallet. The insides of the pockets are lined with nylon to maximize sliding movement. The Exentri Wallet combines the best features of an ordinary credit card holder as well as the best features of a traditional wallet.

The Exentri Wallet comes in a wide variety of colors and leather textures. Some of the designs are targeted at women, another rarity among minimalist wallets. Although we were a little less than enthusiastic when we first saw the Exentri Wallet, it has won us over with its long list of features, well thought-out design and high quality material and workmanship of the wallet.
